Coffee with Rietveld

A coffee chair that reduces CO2.
Most coffee wood is cut and burnt in the coffee regions of the world- this could be a solution for the circular economy.

Milan, Italy: Katya Warner today announced ¨Coffee with Rietveld¨, a new chair that could be the next solution for reducing CO2 in the coffee regions of the world. The chair is a redesign from the 1934 Zigzag chair and offers a new way for using this innovative material. ¨Coffee wood is so amazing because it´s stronger than steel, and so beautiful because of its inticate texture.

“I have this problem in my coffee plantation, and I am glad I contacted Katya for a solution” says Hernando Rámirez, CEO at Cafe Pereira. “This was a dream of mine and I am glad that coffee wood can now be used in the design community .”

Features and benefits of coffee wood include:
Stonger than steel.
